Ohio County’s Promise

I was watching television when they have featured a documentaries about different abuses and maltreatments that are experienced by a person from his or her family. It was a heartbreaking documentaries that features a father that had an heart attack. He experience a half dead body because of the heart attack. His wife is working at the garbage dump site to give all the needs of the family. He was left with his three daughters and because of his condition, he cannot take care of his children instead he is the one being taken care of.

Life was not that good, that his elder daughter was treating him bad because of the stress that her daughter was experiencing every time the mothers goes out. The child was only nine years old, all of the responsibility that a mother is being passed to her because of the condition of her father. The child have felt miserable and full of stress that she had poured her madness and pain to her sick father because of the sufferings that she experienced. Every time she was so angry because of their life, she hammer the things that are in her hands to his father saying that it is his fault. She blames her father of what she was experiencing everyday.

I can’t imagine how poverty can affect the life and treatment to each other of a family. Just because of the hard striving for survival, people are getting violent nowadays. I may not help people to jump out of poverty but I can help by teaching them how to accept this life and help them reach their goals…
